The ESSEX Tour 3rd October 2010 This page last modified on Sunday, September 12, 2010 Details of the event will be displayed on this web area as they become available. The Essex Tour is a Touring Assembly for Vintage and Classic Cars registered no later than 1985. The tour will be an approximately 100 mile route winding it’s way through the scenic Essex countryside visiting a number of Brown Sign tourist attractions along the way. The event is not competitive and therefore is not timed, but advice will be given on when we are expected at the various venues. The route will be in the form of a Road Book containing all the information you will require, including Tulip Diagrams and Distances.Regulations and Entry Form are available from the link below. Itinerary We will be starting from a private sports and social club where you will receive a complimentary tea or coffee on arrival. You will also be able to purchase breakfast from a wide-ranging menu to eat in their restaurant. Morning Halt will be at a Brown Sign Tourist Attraction, where you will find a range of craft items and yet another restaurant for more refreshments. Lunch Halt will be an unfinished Tudor building project! where we are invited to view parts of the site, walk the grounds and use the facilities, having finished the picnic that we advise you to bring along. Afternoon Halt will be another Brown Sign Tourist Attraction in the form of a Museum (pre-paid entry) displaying an interesting range of items of local interest. Finish Venue Another private member’s club, this time with a strong aeronautical feel, we will park the vehicles so as to form a display for the members of this Club. We are invited to make use of their clubhouse, bar and refreshment facilities. |
